The School is accredited by University of Cambridge and is a recognized Examination Centre by CIE to conduct IGCSE examination. Form Grade 1 to 8 the school follows a comprehensive British National Curriculum. From Grade 9, IGCSE syllabus is taught.

Subjects offered in grade 1 to 8 are:

English, Mathematics, Science, Arabic, Islamic, National Study, Urdu/French, Computer Science, Social Study (for non Arabs), History/Geography (ministry subject for Arabs) and P.E.

The School Policy regarding IGCSE Examination:

In Grade 9 students will select subjects on the bases of their marks. They will have 8 IGCSE SUBJECTS + 3 Ministry subjects (Arabic, Islamic and National Studies). For the convenience of students all subjects are put under 3 groups:

Group I Compulsory Subjects

1. English ( as a second language)
2. Mathematics
3. Information Technology
4. Environmental  Management

Group II Language (choose any one)

1. French
2. Urdu

Group III Optional Subjects

            SCIENCE                                                                        COMMERCE

1.  Biology                                                                              1.  Business Studies
2.  Physics                                                                               2.  Accounts
3.  Chemistry                                                                           3.  Economics

For IGCSE Examination students will split the 8 subjects into two groups;
In Grade 10 they will give exam of three subjects - Environmental Management,
Urdu/ French and Information Technology. Remaining 5 subjects, they will give in Grade 11.  

Term

The entire academic year is divided into two terms: First and Second. The First Term begins from second or third week of September and ends in January. The Second Term begins from February and ends in June.

Each term will have one periodic test and one terminal exam. Final result is prepared after taking the substantial weightage from each periodic/term exam.  

 

Faculty

The teaching faculty is highly experienced and qualified drawn from various nationalities demonstrating a true international character. Teachers are selected carefully after assessing their professional competence in teaching British curriculum. Professional Development Programme is conducted on regular basis by eminent educationists and experts to enhance and update their teaching skills. The teachers teaching in higher classes are trained by IGCSE experts.
